A new update has emerged from the South Korean financial authority, the Financial Services Commission (FSC). The financial regulatory decided to maintain the ban enforced towards ICOs, based on the findings of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS). The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), which provides infrastructure services to financial markets across the globe, has released the results of a new study indicating that the distributed ledger technology (DLT) first popularized by bitcoin is capable of supporting the average daily trading volumes in the U.S. equity market: more than 100 million trades per day.
